The Independence Color Run is an untimed 5km color run and festive event where participants get powdered in color every 1 km as they walk, jog, dance or ride to the finish line.

The color kit is a small admission pack that you will receive with a paid ticket. Contents of color kits vary according to ticket options, but all color kits come with an Entry Pass (festival wristband), a bottle of drinking water, a sachet of color powder, a race bib, and a pack of crisps. To get a color kit, simply purchase a ticket at our Online Box Office

Upon successfully purchasing a ticket, your color kit will be secured. You can pick your color kit on the day of the event, just show up with your e-ticket that contains your QR code. Your ticket will be scanned for authenticity and a color kit issued. If you want color kits delivered beforehand, we can ship them to your address 1-week prior to the event (if you cover the shipping cost of course).

NO! With each paid ticket comes entranced into the event where you will be colored, you will also be colored every 1km on the route, and be given your own small sachet of color. You should get more than enough color with regular entry, however, if you need more color powder for personal use, you can purchase additional sachets as you need on-site.

Absolutely not!!! You can walk, skip, dance, ride, or even crawl through the color points. Just have fun … take selfies along the way, carry your drinks, or stop at the beer point. You can even carry your own Bluetooth speakers … just have fun

Yes! Our high-quality color powder is made from 100% natural, non-toxic, and bio-degradable ingredients. As with all powder, refrain from inhaling large amounts and throwing it in eyes.

Yes, children as young as 2 years old can enjoy Jinja Color Run. Of course, this is based on the fact that the safety of the child is the responsibility of it’s guardian.

Your official Independence Tee! Each color kit includes a t-shirt. If you purchase a ticket without an official T-shirt, we recommend that you wear a light-colored top (white preferably)

The party kicks off at 10:00 am with music, games, food, and other goodies. The 5km run flags off at 3 pm. The After Glow adult-only party kicks off at 7pm.
